I'm human, female. I live on the third planet from the sun, in the northern hemeshpere. I have a pet dog, a very big poodle named Enstein. Better watch out or you will be attacked by a big fluffy ball of fur.
You're really nice.. and don't get me wrong.... but all (or almost all) of your art is a direct copy line-art wise ofNeonDragon and her work. It's not really all that fun to do that. Thanks anyway for the watch. And try being original. I don't especially want to report you and have your account taken down.
Yes, some of the art that I draw is from that book but that book is there to help people learn how to draw dragons. So most likly people will draw the same art in the book as I have did. Trust me, I have seen the same thing, others do it too. I am posting that art to show what my skills (coloring, shading, etc.) intail, not to "steal" anyone's artwork. I do actually draw the art (circles and step after step), I do not simply stick paper over the picture and trace it. If I did that I would not learn anything and I hope to learn to enhance my skills by getting the "basics" down and NeonDragon is very helpful in doing so.
Yes yes. That's all well and good. It's just that I know Neon personally (she lives quite close to me) and it would be a shame to have to watch you simply copy her art (which isn't that good) and post it up. But... if you really are sincere, no reporting for me. I'll hold my tongue. And watch you. Sure. No hard feelings.
Yes, I admit I do not have the greatest skill when it comes to drawing, coloring or anything to do with art but everyone has to start somewhere and this is my start. NeonDragon created a book that would help improve people's skills and I intend to use it to my fullest or why eles would she create a book? Just to look at it and be like "I wish I could do that?" She most likely created it to show people that they can create art too. Of course, I can't really say that for sure because I am not her. You can ask her about that since you know her. Some people just have that "natural" skill to draw and create new things and I do not have that or at least not yet. So untill I am confident enough to create my own wonderful peices of artwork I will rely of improving my skills through the advice and knowlegde of artists who have way more experience then me. And I agree, no hard feelings, just one artist to another, right? ^_~
...could you really report me about using her artwork even if I give credit to NeonDragon?
